BUS 261 - Graphic Design: Interface Design Credits: 1-5 LEC hours per week: 5 The Interface Design course is an introduction to Web and app design, using a software platform. This course focuses on the point of contact between the user and a system. Addresses aesthetics, user experience, user behavior, navigation, function, and accessibility. Students develop and revise various user interfaces as feedback informs design decisions. Formerly: CS 221 and EMRK 221. Course Outcomes:
- Direct user behavior through interface design.
- Analyze and improve design via the User Experience (UX) process.
- Apply the principles of design to create digital layouts.
- Employ the design process, developing a strategy with goals and tactics to support it.
