DT 183 - Electronics I Credits: 1-5 LEC hours per week: 3.800 LAB hours per week: 2.400 Theory, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems are covered. Topics include charging, starting, ignition, and accessory electrical systems. Students must be seeking a certificate or degree in Diesel Technology. Course Outcomes:
- Apply electrical theory to creating, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical circuits.
- Interpret electrical symbols and diagrams.
- Examine electrical circuits and batteries.
- Analyze charging and starting systems.
- Evaluate personal progress on NATEF task list.
