HPER 188 - Basic Fitness I Credits: 1 LEC hours per week: 1 This course will explore the theory knowledge, research, and online discussions exploring general exercise principles and lifetime fitness. The workout component will be included in the concurrently enrolled HPER 189 class. Course Outcomes:
- Summarize and apply basic exercise principles.
- Articulate thorughts and ideas in regular discusison board participation.
- Outline techniques and practices in relation to stress management.
- Summarize available apps and other online fitness tools.
- Explain the benefits of lifetime fitness.
- Design a customized workout plan and goals.
