Provides proper performance of John Deere planting equipment. Topics include theory, design, principles of operation, proper setup, and adjustment of all planting equipment.
Course Outcomes:

Describe the fundamentals of machine operation including proper tractor compatibility.
Perform maintenance, diagnostic, and repair procedures on various seed application equipment.
Optimize tractor and planting/seeding equipment according to conditions.
Practice safe work habits when diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipment.
Communicate the complaint, the cause, and the action taken to correct the problem.
Use software applications and technical equipment appropriate for task.
Exhibit professionalism as listed in “Guidelines to Success” policies.
