PSYC 196 - Psychology of Human Performance Credits: 3 LEC hours per week: 3 In-depth study of the relationship between the mind and body. Course includes application of psychological theories, research, and intervention strategies to performance enhancements in a variety of settings. Formerly: PSY 196. Recommended: READ 088 or higher. Course Outcomes:
- Explain how the relationship between mind and body affects human performance in a variety of settings.
- Distinguish among theories of motivation, learning, memory, and attributional style as they relate to human performance in every day life.
- Explain psychological factors related to individual differences in human performance.
- Apply psychological research on human performance to self and others.
