Credits:4 LEC hours per week:2 LAB hours per week:4 This course is an introduction to precision ag field equipment. Tracking, auto steering, and precision spraying equipment will be installed, calibrated, troubleshot and repaired. Hands on labs will have students in the field operating these types of equipment. Data acquisition, data analysis and compilation will also be covered. Formerly: AGPR 170. Course Outcomes:
Identify equipment used in the precision agriculture industry.
Assemble components of particular hardware components used in precision agriculture.
Diagnose and repair software and hardware issues.
Perform proper function tests.
Operate precision equipment correctly with the ability to manipulate functionality of precision agriculture equipment.
