ECPE 140 - Parent Education and Involvement

Parenting classes for students who are parents of children from birth to age five or from age six to twelve. This course will include video modules and group discussion about positive ways to parent young children.
Course Outcomes:

Analyze special topics in parenting education.
Discuss and compare a variety of parenting strategies.
Apply techniques to strengthen family relationships and communication.
Choose and apply developmentally appropriate, culturally relevant and anti-bias resources in order to sharpen tactics for interacting with individual children.
